Sensei Mish is a fantastic teacher, he has the unique ability to split moves up into connecting segments that are easy to learn and easy to reconnect into the complete move. He is patient and extremely knowledgeable in martial arts. I highly recommend him for beginners and advanced martial artists looking to improve their skills or learn new styles. I have learned Modular Knife from him in both online (live video) and in person classes, and have increased my skill set considerably with both of these methods.

I have worked with Sensei Mish Handwerker for over a decade and I have found very few martial artists whose conviction and dedication to the martial arts to match his. I am glad that he is bringing his knowledge of both karate and Filipino Marital Arts tot he city of Vancouver (my home town). His presence will raise the bar on martial arts standards in this community.
